La Guarimba Film Festival is a unique experience where you will find outdoor cinema, workshops for adults and children, beach time, concerts, italian food and an international community with directors, illustrators and cinema lovers.
The best part? It’s free! Yes. Our mission is to bring the cinema back to the people and the people back to the cinema. We understand the empowerment of culture to people and so, with that in mind, we are always trying to improve the accessibility and that’s the reason why La Guarimba is a free high quality festival for everybody.
There are several ways to get here.
BY TRAIN
The main Naples-Reggio di Calabria railway line passes through town, with the Amantea train station by the sea. You can find tickets to Amantea in trenitalia.it website
BY PLANE
The nearest airport is at Lamezia Terme, just a short drive or 20-minute train ride away (take a taxi or bus from the airport to Lamezia Terme Centrale train station).
WHERE TO SLEEP
