La Grotta dei Piccoli is the section of the festival dedicated to our youngest audience and that has become a reference point for animation lovers over the years. Our goal is to encourage our viewers’ curiosity and immerse them in a rich program varied in stories and techniques. For this 2023 edition, we have selected 100 short films created by both established and emerging talents from all over the world.
Following last year’s success, we will continue to have a ‘Giuria dei Piccoli’ once again: a jury of children and teenagers that will attend all screenings, vote for their favourite film and eventually select a winner. The purpose is to promote and strengthen the active participation of the young public by giving them an opportunity to reflect and discuss the films they have seen in order to come to a common decision.
The evening screenings will be divided into two parts in order to have a balanced programme for two specific age groups: the first part will be dedicated to younger children, while the second part will be aimed at teenagers and young adults.
